No, not the flu. The paranoia! I feel it in my fingers, I feel it in my toes. Slowly and surely the fear of this new virus is chipping away at my normally cool and ruggedly handsome exterior. It’s already starting to affect my every day life, I mean, I’ve already washed my hands like 10 times! In the past week! wait that’s not a lot? interesting…

I’ve read that there’s this new tech tool that can track the chatter on social websites like twitter to determine swine flu outbreaks. This is GREAT! Gotta stay informed! Gotta stay on your toes! Nothing is as reliable as twitter, power to the people!

hang on. my computer is lagging cause it can’t catch up to the rate that I’m hitting refresh on the cdc website. ugh. hurry up…gotta stay informed. GOTTA STAY INFORMED!!! oh! another forward from my family with ways to prevent swine flu! yes! can’t read the same thing TOO many times!

Anyways, you can’t be TOO careful. Do it for the children. Won’t somebody please think of the children!!

It’s Official. Naperville Stinks!

In years past HandsomeHwang and I would make the 45 minute drive out to Naperville to visit in promise of “naperthrills.” Well, each of those visits have always resulted in us either getting lost somewhere, or being clearly misled with the degree of “thrills” that were promised. The thrill-to-distance-traveled ratio was severely skewed. Funny thing is that we kept going back thinking, maybe this time would be better, only to result in us driving back to the glorious north suburbs at top speed yelling “NAPERVILLE STINKS!!” out the window.

And now, it has been confirmed.

Naperville Stinks; Officials Don’t Know Why

NAPERVILLE, Ill. — Naperville and portions of Aurora, Glen Ellyn and Oswego as well as towns as far east as Evergreen Park and Oak Lawn — stink, and no one seems able to figure out why.

I’ll tell you why, it’s cause North Suburbs>Naperville.
Just jokes folks. Naperville isn’t that bad.

808s and Heartbreak

Word’s out that the new Kanye album, “808s and Heartbreak” should be coming out earlier then expected. The original anticipated release was in December but Kanye has just recently bumped it up to November because he, “felt like it.”

It’s been said that this coming album should mark a different tone and slightly different style then what most people have come to expect based on his previous albums. I, for one, am thrilled. It’s nice to see someone that’s in the mainstream hiphop industry and not be afraid to try something that isn’t the same previous recipe for success.

Of course, this would come down to what Kanye’s definition of “different” is, but I am still intrigued nonetheless. Maybe its all a huge marketing gimmick.
