808s and Heartbreak

Word’s out that the new Kanye album, “808s and Heartbreak” should be coming out earlier then expected. The original anticipated release was in December but Kanye has just recently bumped it up to November because he, “felt like it.”

It’s been said that this coming album should mark a different tone and slightly different style then what most people have come to expect based on his previous albums. I, for one, am thrilled. It’s nice to see someone that’s in the mainstream hiphop industry and not be afraid to try something that isn’t the same previous recipe for success.

Of course, this would come down to what Kanye’s definition of “different” is, but I am still intrigued nonetheless. Maybe its all a huge marketing gimmick. In any case, if you haven’t heard it yet, I’ve attached the single from his new album. Give it a listen and see for yourself. Click the little box by the song to download. First Post/Songs Of The Moment

Hello there,

I know an official “first post” is supposed to be due, filled with a welcome and cleverness and such, but I just can’t deal with the pressure. So for now, as a celebration of this new joint endeavor, I would like to share with everyone these songs that I have been listening to in the past few days.
